"SAMO-MALO" (in translation: "ONLY-THE-SMALL") means that this database hosts the information and promotes the goods and services of the local small companies and entrepreneurs only, i.e. excluding the large companies.

VG Poduzetnicki centar runs the permanent update of information on each entrepreneur through the field interviews of the local entrepreneurs.
This catalogue is a powerful database, bringing the descriptions of products and services of small companies and crafts from our area of business. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first database in Croatia bringing forth the user-friendly system of research under 4 different criteria (company name, owners' name, location, type of goods/service), and containing the all business entities and crafts of one area without exemption, listing them under the criteria of their exact goods and services.
The Project Team
The Project was written in the course of 2005, when all the project documentation was prepared and the initial lists of interviewees with their contacts gathered. In the course of 2005., the Committee for Public Procurment of VG Poduzetnicki centar has chosen Stromboli d.o.o. as the best offerer and final partner for development of the neccessary IT and DB solutions for the project. We would hereby like to thank all our faithful and devoted partners for all their ideas and permanent backup to our project!
The information were gathered through the field-interviews with the entrepreneurs, and the interviews were performed by specially chosen and educated team of students. This database/catalogue would not exist had there been no hard work, interest, devotedness, patience, stubornness, faith and help of this team. We are grateful to Josipa and Mirjana Ban, Ivan Čobanov, Marta Damjanović, Sonja Filipović, Ivan Mrvelj, Ana Radman, Marina Rožić and Marina Vnučec, who had spent the autumn and winter 2005-2006 on rain, mud and snow, seting forth the solid grounds for the project's development for Velika Gorica and wider area!
