THINK ABOUT YOURSELF - Only The Early Discovered Breast Cancer May Be Medically Treated With Success

VG Poduzetnicki centar was engaged for compiling the THINK ABOUT YOURSELF project for Udruga edukacijom protiv raka dojke Zagrebacke zupanije (the non-governmental association struggling against breast cancer through various educational programmes).

The project was compiled in January 2007, and commenced in June 2007. It aims at educating 6.500 women resident in Zagrebacka zupanija and being between 18 and 49 years old in self-examination method in prevention of breast cancer. Furthermore, the project would secure 1000 ultrasound screenings and 4.500 mammograms for the target groups excluded from the National breast cancer prevention programmes. It is co-funded by European Union - the CARDS 2004 preaccession fund with EUR 177.662 (81% of the total value of the Project). The main Partner of the association is Zagrebacka zupanija (regional government).
